How can we encourage teachers to work together and create engaging lesson plans for the modern age?

Nagi, Daniel, and Noel, who are Teacher Development Specialists from Clayton County, Georgia, gathered to tackle this issue. They started by brainstorming fun activities that lead to student success, but having too many options overwhelmed the teachers. They came up with an idea: what if teachers played a game and were limited to a certain number of activities? This would allow them to collaboratively plan and discuss which activities best align with the standards and learning goals. The team decided to create cards for the activities, coding them with three colors and shapes. Blue circles represented the beginning of the lesson (content), green triangles denoted the middle (process), and red diamonds symbolized the end (product).
